Create Shift

1 - Add a new name.
2 – Select a color that is not part of the existing Shifts.

   o “Shift starts” Time.
   o “Maximum Check-In”: This is the grace period that the employee needs to checkIn before considered late to work.
4 – Add the following Data for Check-Out:
   o “Shift ends” Time.
   o “Minimum Check-Out”: This is the grace period that the employee can check-Out before considered left early from work.
5 – Check the box & add how long is the break.

7 - Add additional deductions for Late Check-In.
8 - View the list of Deduction if employee leaves early from work.
9 - Add additional deductions for Early Check-Out.

     o Check the Box to allow Overtime for this Shift.
     o Set limit of overtime per day.
     o Include early Check-In to be part of the overtime calculation.
(Example, if employee arrives at 7:30am and the shift starts at 8:00am, the half an hour will be added as an overtime for this employee.)
11 – View Overtime Calculation for this shift. (Overtime formula: Annual Overtime Pay element/365/number of working hours in this shift = Hourly rate).
12 – Add additional overtime calculation.
13 - Click ‘Update” to save changes.
Alt text 14 – Check the Box “Shift has flexible Hours” if the shift is flexible.
15 – Add the shift Check-Out From & To. (If the Check-Out has an “Am” timing, then the system will allow employee to check-out the next day. If not, and the employee attempts to Check-Out the next day (Example: 1:00am) then it will consider the employee is starting a new day and will request the employee to Check-In first.
16 - Add the total number of hours for this shift.
